RE: Six Month Extension of Stitch-Tec/Anchor Glass, 1800 E. Harmony
On May 23, 1988, the Planning and Zoning Board approved the Non -conforming
Use Review for a project then referred to as Stitch-Tec Warehouse, located
at 1800 East Harmony Road, just east of the railroad tracks. The approval
was for an expansion of a building containing a non -conforming use. The
project is now referred to by the owners as Anchor Glass which is the
tenant that supplies glass products to the Busch brewery.
The existing building was approved and built in the County. The proposed
expansion has not yet occurred due to a reluctance on the part of Anchor
Glass to commit to a long term lease. Any expansion must occur under the
plans approved in the City. The extension would be for six months and
could be granted administratively.
