RE: Storm Drainage Review of Stich -Tech Warehouse Expansion
I received the revisions for Stich -Tech last week and have the
following comments:
1. They have proposed a modification of an existing irrigation
structure and ditch located on their property. Apparently they
are still in negotiation with the water user regarding the final
modification (either pipe it or eliminate it). To protect the
City against any future claims, I think that we should hold the
building permit until the negotiations have been completed.
Proof of the water user's permission must be qiven to us either
in the form of a letter, or a signature on the proposed plan.
2. They have also proposed regrading their outlet ditch some 200
feet gffof the property. Again they need permission to do this.
As I understand it (from Phil Robinson), the entire site is owned
by the railroad, including the area where the regrading will take
place. The railroad company must be contacted and approval
received from them to do the work. Approval can be in the form
of a letter.
S. I have already spoken to Phil Robinson about the above
comments as well as some additional technical comments about the
detention pond. l will hand deliver the marked -up revisions to
Phil R. today.
If you have any comments or questions please call me.
