Box 1190 Fort Collins, CO. 80522 Re: C & L Partnership Special Review - Expansion of a previously approved sand and gravel pit and concrete batch plant. Dear Ms. Dickinson: Staff has reviewed the C & L Partnership Special Review and has the follow- ing comments: 1. A portion the City's bike trail system borders this property along the north side. Staff requests that the developer provide some naturalistic plantings of native trees and shrubs to buffer the trail from this operation. 2. Staff would like to review a more detailed reclamation plan with location and quantities of proposed plantings indicated. 3. The City standard for maximum side slopes for detention ponds and drain- age swales is 4:1.. The side, slopes for the lake should not exceed this standard. 4. Staff would like to review a storm drainage plan for the site. 5. Taft Hill Road is designated as an arterial street requiring a 100 foot Right of Way.
