1.EXISTING UNDERGROUND AND OVERHEAD PUBLIC AND PRIVATE
UTILITIES AS SHOWN ARE INDICATED ACCORDING TO THE BEST
INFORMATION AVAILABLE TO THE ENGINEER. THE ENGINEER DOES
NOT GUARANTEE THE ACCURACY OF SUCH INFORMATION. EXISTING
UTILITY MAINS AND SERVICES MAY NOT BE STRAIGHT LINES OR AS
INDICATED ON THESE DRAWINGS. THE CONTRACTOR SHALL BE
RESPONSIBLE TO CALL ALL UTILITY COMPANIES (PUBLIC AND
PRIVATE) PRIOR TO ANY CONSTRUCTION TO VERIFY EXACT UTILITY

2.THE PROPOSED CONSTRUCTION WILL BE IN CLOSE PROXIMITY TO
SEVERAL UNDERGROUND UTILITIES. THE CONTRACTOR SHALL
COORDINATE WITH ALL UTILITY PROVIDERS PRIOR TO AND DURING
CONSTRUCTION TO MINIMIZE SERVICE INTERRUPTIONS TO
SURROUNDING BUILDINGS OR PROPERTIES.
3.THE PLUMBING CONTRACTOR SHALL TERMINATE UTILITY LATERALS
5' OUTSIDE OF BUILDING UNLESS NOTED OTHERWISE. EXACT
LOCATIONS (HORIZONTAL AND VERTICAL) OF ALL UTILITY
CONNECTIONS INTO THE PROPOSED BUILDING SHALL BE
COORDINATED WITH APPROVED ARCHITECTURAL DRAWINGS.
4.REFER TO APPROVED SITE ELECTRICAL PLANS FOR ALL CONDUITS
AND POWER LINE ROUTING FOR SITE LIGHTING.
5.WATER AND SEWER SERVICE PROVIDED BY THE FORT
COLLINS-LOVELAND WATER AND SOUTH FORT COLLINS SANITATION
DISTRICTS. ALL WATER AND SEWER CONSTRUCTION SHALL BE PER
EACH DISTRICT'S STANDARD CONSTRUCTION SPECIFICATIONS,
LATEST EDITION.
6.MINIMUM DEPTH OF COVER OVER WATER MAINS SHALL BE 5'.
MAXIMUM COVER SHALL BE 6'.
7.MAINTAIN 10' HORIZONTAL AND 18" VERTICAL MINIMUM SEPARATION
BETWEEN ALL SANITARY SEWER & WATER MAINS & SERVICES.
8.ALL WATER FITTINGS AND VALVES ARE ONLY GRAPHICALLY
REPRESENTED AND ARE NOT TO SCALE.
9.SANITARY SEWER SERVICES SHALL BE SDR-35 PVC.
10.FIRE SERVICES SHALL BE AWWA C-900 PVC. WATER SERVICES
LARGER THAN 1-1/2" MAY BE EITHER TYPE K COPPER, SDR 9 HDPE
PIPE WITH A PRESSURE RATING OF 200 PSI OR DUCTILE IRON PIPE
WITH A PRESSURE RATING OF 200 PSI.
11.CONTRACTOR SHALL COORDINATE ALL UTILITY DEMOLITION AND/OR
RELOCATION ITEMS WITH THE APPROPRIATE UTILITY PROVIDER
PRIOR TO BEGINNING ANY ONSITE DEMOLITION.
