Project Information and Design Narrative
Project Title: Willox Farm

Conceptual Review meeting held on September 13, 2019
General Information:
The proposed use for the site is a single-family detached residential project. The site is
approximately 19.01 acres and is located on the south of West Willox Lane, north of Soft
Gold Park. Sixty-five (65) lots are proposed.
A pedestrian trail is proposed connecting the trail in Soft Gold Park, to the north end of the
property. In addition, detached walks will provide safe pedestrian circulation throughout the
site.
The site is bounded by West Willox Lane to the north, Sweets Farm to the west,
manufactured housing to the east, Howes Street to the east and Gold Park to the south.
Proposed landscaping for the site will consist of a mix of focused areas of plantings
consisting of shrubs, perennials, and ornamental grasses, using a water wise plant palette.
Native seed will be the primary ground cover used in open areas to be compatible with
nearby uses and to promote a rural development character.
