Re: Heritage Park Fort Collins: Existing Tree Removal Feasibility Letter
To Whom it May Concern:
The current condition of this site includes a number of existing trees from the existing development.
Our site plan was designed with keeping as many of these trees as possible while meeting our
client’s needs and the City’s requirements. There are some instances where it is not feasible to keep
trees, below is a list of these instances. Please reference the Tree Mitigation Plan for locations.
• Tree 1: Due to proposed architectural canopy, tree cannot be preserved.
• Tree 2: Due to proposed residential driveway, tree cannot be preserved.
• Tree 3: Due to proposed residential driveway, tree cannot be preserved.
• Tree 4: Due to proposed residential driveway, tree cannot be preserved.
• Tree 5: Due to proposed residential driveway, tree cannot be preserved.
• Tree 6: Due to proposed grading and architectural canopy, tree cannot be preserved.
• Tree 7: Due to proposed building, tree cannot be preserved.
• Tree 8: Due to proposed building, tree cannot be preserved.
• Tree 9: Due to proposed building, tree cannot be preserved.
• Tree 10: Due to proposed building, tree cannot be preserved.
• Tree 11: Due to proposed building, tree cannot be preserved.
• Tree 12: Due to proposed building, tree cannot be preserved.
• Tree 13: Due to proposed residential driveway, tree cannot be preserved.
Mitigation for thirteen (13) of the existing trees to be removed will be provided on site per information
provided by the City Forester, as shown on the proposed landscape plan.
