Box 229 Boulder, CO 80306 Dear Mike, This letter will address some of your recent questions in regards to the potential annexation of property owned by your company into the City of Fort Collins. I have had the opportunity to discuss, with the City's Finance Department, the application of the City's Use and Sales Taxes to properties after annexation. Anything owned (furnishings, equipment, etc.) prior to the annexation is not subject to the City's taxes. Anything pur- chased after annexation would be subject to such taxes. Again, in regards to the Sales Tax, any purchases made on -site after annexation would be sub- ject to the City's Sales Tax. I look forward to working with you as we go through this annexation pro- cess. If you have any further questions please contact me. Sincerely, Kenneth G. Waido Chief Planner • P.O.
