As we discussed on Tuesday, the applicant for the Interstate Land Final PUD, First
Filing (Harley Davidson), has agreed to continue the project to the May 20th Planning and
Zoning Board Hearing based on our understanding of the following:
1 . Issues to be addressed for the P&Z Hearing will be limited to the issues identified as
of April 8th. Interested parties have had ample opportunity to raise concerns.
2. This project will be the first "Discussion Item" on the May 20th Planning and Zoning
Board Agenda.
3. Based on our completion of plan revisions to meet the criteria established at our April
8th meeting, the project will have the support of City Staff; with a clear
recommendation of approval. The criteria agreed upon on April 8th included:
- Site plan amendments to establish a 30' minimum setback from the existing top
of bank of Boxelder Creek to the proposed building and parking areas on the
Harley Davidson site.
Bank stabilization at Boxelder Creek will be limited to the area disturbed by the
water line crossing of the creek. We will be evaluating two alternatives - one
with, and one without a pedestrian bridge - for the treatment of that area.
The question of expanding the existing recorded easement for the Lake Canal Company
is being reviewed by attorneys for the affected parties.

We anticipate meeting with City Staff next Wednesday regarding the details of the
waterline/possible bridge crossing. Revised site and landscape plans should be ready to be
submitted by April 25th. Reductions, rendered plans, and eight sets of prints will be provided
by May 13th. We appreciate your assistance in this project. Please call if you need further
information.
Sincerely,
