Dear Bob:
The projects referenced above were both given final approval
by the Planning and Zoning Board on March 24, 1997, subject to the
standard condition requiring execution of a development agreement
within two months after approval. Because the two -month deadline
of May 19, 1997 is fast approaching and development agreements have
not been executed for either project, I have confirmed with
Georgeanna in your office that she has already scheduled requests
to modify the development agreement condition for these projects on
the Planning and Zoning Board's consent agenda for May 19, 1997.
I was also told that, unless there are particular difficulties or
problems with a project, the Planning Department will continue to
automatically schedule time extensions for compliance with the
standard development agreement condition of final approvals.
Please let me know if you have a different understanding than
what was conveyed to me. Thank you.
