Hi Melissa & Justin,
Just a quick follow up from our last coordination, the City is no longer requiring an LOI from Northfield to utilize the
blanket easement through their site so we will be moving forward with the preferred perpendicular crossing at the
regional trail as previously discussed and proposed. The one outstanding comment the City had that Justin we
discussed and Melissa I’m not sure if Todd spoke to you about this during your coordination call but it’s simply
confirming that a native seed mix is acceptable. Thanks again for your time working through this with us and the City
and we look forward to further developing the Final Plan details after our concept approval.
Please respond to this email for the City’s reference of the native seed acceptance and feel free to reach out to me for
any additional information as we look to begin Final Plan design and details towards the end of April.
Thank you,
Aaron

Good Afternoon Gentlemen, the Board of Directors of the Lake Canal Company find the current proposal by DHI
Communities to run a sanitary sewer line within the ditch easement as shown on the attached plans
unacceptable. Lake Canal Company is certainly willing to continue to work toward a perpendicular crossing of the ditch
for this sewer line.
Best regards,
