We have included 10 sets of the revised drawings for your review. All comments have been addressed in full on the drawings with the following exceptions or clarifications. Comments specific to the engineering drawings have been addressed in a separate letter from Sear -Brown. Responses: Public Service Company of Colorado We have met with Jim Slagle regarding the pressure regulator near the northeast corner of the site. After discussing several alternatives, we have shown the 20' x 80' easement within the HP site west of the loop road. 24-hour access will be provided to Public Service as necessary for service to the pressure regulator. We have also indicated trees where possible to screen the easement from County Road 9. Easements for the associated gas lines have also been indicated on the plans. Transportation We have indicated an enhanced pedestrian crossing at County Road 9. There is an existing 12' wide concrete apron adjacent to the drain pan which crosses the entrance into Hewlett-Packard's west gate. The apron directly connects the future sidewalks and two existing landscape islands. The apron will be scored to provide a pedestrian connection across the drive, and ramps will be added to the islands so they may serve as pedestrian refuge areas. We have discussed the additional sidewalk within the parking area with Kathleen Revis and with Hewlett-Packard. At this time, HP would like to continue the sidewalk and parking patterns which exist throughout the campus by providing direct connections down the one-way drive aisles to the sidewalk systems near the buildings. Kathleen has agreed to suggest the sidewalk as a recommendation rather than a requirement, and HP has agreed take her suggestion under consideration. Hewlett-Packard is highly motivated to provide safe access for their employees design LANDSCAPE ARCHITECTURE URBAN DESIGN PLANNING BHA DESIGN, INC. 4803 INNOVATION DRIVE FT.
