Dear Angie:
The following comments apply to the Landscape Plan for Hewlett-Packard, Building Four, in
addition to comments already verbally discussed:
1. Please indicate existing or proposed street trees along County Road #9 as per Section
3.2.1 (D) (2).
2. Please indicate which turf areas are to be irrigated and non -irrigated and delineate the
boundaries between the two. Irrigated turf should be used in high use and high visibility
areas as per Section 3.2.1 (E) (2) (a).
3. There is too much reliance upon Emerald Queen Norway Maple with a quantity of 31.
This number should be reduced to no more than 15% of the total of 165 (25) for species
diversity as per Section 3.2.1 (D) (3).
4. Please add a note that tree -utility separations shall not be used as a means of avoiding the
planting of required street trees as per Section 3.2.1 (K).
5. Please add a note regarding topsoil conservation as per Section 3.2.1 (1).
6. Please add a note regarding tree protection and replacement as to the tree transplants as
per Section 3.2.1 (F).
7. Please be sure to indicate on Landscape Plan S.W. (Sheet L-1.5) the location of the three
mitigation trees for the removed cottonwood.
8. On Landscape Plan - S.E. (L-1.6), please add a shade tree in the southerly endcap parking
lot island.
