Current Planning Citv of Fort Collins October 25, 1995 Ms. Amy Dykstal Hewlett-Packard Facilities Department 3404 East Harmony Road Fort Collins, CO 80525 Dear Amy: ices Staff has reviewed the request for the Modular Office Building Number Two, I-L Site Plan Review, and offers the following comments: 1. Water and Wastewater Utility is assuming that water and sewer service lines serving the new modular building will connect to existing lines on H-P private property. If so, then there are no cc=ents. If new service lines are being tapped from the main in the public right-of-way, then water and sewer tap fees will apply. Please add a note stating the intention of providing water and sewer services. 2. Please provide building dimensions for the new modular structure. 3. A building permit and compliance with adopted building codes are required for both the modular and the pedestrian walkway. The walkway must conform to the provisions of Section 509 of the Uniform Building Code with minimum one -hour fire resistive type construction throughout. 4. The modular must be made accessible to a person in a wheelchair. Toilet rooms, if provided, must also be handicap accessible. 5. The Building Inspection Division will need a foundation design and anchoring system bearing the original seal and signature of a Colorado registered professional engineer or architect. 6. Please indicate, in note form, the distance from the structure to the nearest property line. 7. In the title section in the lower right corner, please note, in large bold type, that this is an I-L Site Plan Review for Hewlett-Packard Temporary Modular Office Building Number Two. 8. The plan should contain a vicinity map showing the location of the Hewlett-Packard property in the context of a two mile radius. The City's Zoning Map could be used. 281 North College Avenue • P.O. Box 580 Fort Collins, CO 80522-0580 • (970) 221-6750 FAX (970) 2221-6378 TDD (970) '"4-6002 9. Please expand note number six stating that although the new building will take up existing parking spaces, a sufficient number of parking spaces remain onsite to accommodate the employees using the new building and that no new parking spaces will be constructed. 10. The ownership signature should also contain a notarial block for whoever notarizes the owner's signature. This concludes Staff comments. The Planning Department has scheduled the Administrative Hearing for the I-L Site Plan Review for TUESDAY, NOVEMBER 7, 1995. The meeting will be held at 1:30 p.m. in the second floor conference room of the Planning Department, 281 North College Avenue.
