Dear Ms. Ripley:
Larimer Co., I-25
Buckeye/Einarsen Annex.
z Mi. N. of Vine Dr.
on E. Side I-25
DOH File 45100
We have reviewed the Buckeye/Einarsen Annexation, and we have the
following comments.
This proposed annexation is in the vicinity of the "Vine" and "County
Road 50" corridors under consideration in the Supplemental Environmental
Impact Statement (SEIS) for the Ft. Collins Expressway east of S.H. 287•
At this time, the conceptual designs for either of these alternatives
should not affect this annexation. However, the final determination of
property impacts cannot be made until an alternative is selected and
final design plans are approved.
Our review of the annexation maps finds that no existing Interstate 25
right of way is included in this annexation. Therefore, our Procedural
Directive on annexation of highway land does not apply.
Thank you for the opportunity to review this annexation. Please
contact Wally Jacobson at 350-2168 if you have any questions.
Very truly yours,
DOUGLAS RAMES
