RE: Protest of West Fossil Creek Master Plan
Dear Linda Ripley,
We have owned the property at 5033 South College Avenue,
Fort Collins, CO for almost a quarter of a century. Over
half of this time this property has provided us rental in-
come. For the past eight years Mill Brothers Landscape 8
Nursery, Inc. has rented the property from us.
The owners/developers presenting this master plan own
properties to the north and south of our property. Even
though the current proposal only addresses the property to
the south of us, it is clear that if this current proposal is
approved that the north side would come up under a similar
proposal in the future and would be accepted at that time.
The proposed roads in this master plan, would in the future
split the property in half, thus eliminating the current use
of the property and making our property, becuase of its
smaller acreage less desirable and worth less.
It is of our opinion that if this proposal was accepted
and carried out to its fullest extent, it would alter the use
and income that have been provided to us in the past,
present, and future. It is for these reasons that we are
objecting to the proposed project called West Fossil Creek
Master Plan.
Sincerely,
