Re: Neighborhood meeting for the Carpet Exchange.
Dear Mr. Van Velsen:
In response to the neighborhood concerns voiced at the December 19th Planning
and Zoning Board Hearing, the City and the applicant would like to hold an
additional neighborhood meeting in an attempt to resolve some of the neighbor-
hoods concerns about the proposed project. In order to have a meaningful
dialogue I believe it is important to limit the number of neighborhood repre-
sentatives at the meeting to ten or less. I am asking you to contact Hal Swope,
President of Fairway Estates (226-2588), and work with him to put together a
group of ten participants that represent both neighborhoods. The meeting has
been tentatively scheduled for January 18, 1988, 7-9 PM at Werner School.
