An intensive design effort was made to save as many trees on the site as possible. We were able to preserve a majority of the Honey locust trees along the northern perimeter of the site that will function as a buffer between the project and the adjacent Spradley/Barr Ford dealership. The site will include 245 mitigation trees as required by the City Forester and Fort Collins Municipal Code. Please refer to the tree exhibits on landscape sheets LS04 and LS05 that correspond to this list. 1. Honey locust (37”) – Retain, fair minus condition (#1 per tree inventory plan). This tree does not conflict with the development of the property. 2. Honey locust (16”) – Mitigation Required: 1.5 Trees, poor condition (#2 per tree inventory plan This tree was evaluated during an on-site meeting with Forestry. It was determined that due condition of the tree that it was best to remove and mitigate. 3. Honey locust (22”) – Mitigation Required: 1.5 Trees, poor condition (#3 per tree inventory plan).
