RE: Proposed Firestone NEC Troutman & S. College - The Marketplace

:hank you for your indulgence and allowing me to change our meeting times.
The attached plan in ver preliminary. The construction department at Firestone
did not comply with the guidelines sent to them as a result of our last meeting.
For example. the free-standing sign should be 6x6 and a monument sign not a pole
sign. Also, landscaping has not been addressed.
The purpose in sending you this "preliminary" plan is to use it as a discussion
document regarding an increase in the floor area to approximately 6600 sq. ft.
from 5250 sq. ft. During Firestone's process of analyzing costs. it was deter-
mined that a two-story building would cost approximately $110,000 more than this
one-story unit. Thus. we look to you for feedback on size. configuration and
parking; more conceptual in nature.
Please give me a call once you have had a chance to look this over. 1 would be
more happy to plan another trip to discuss this matter. Thank you.
