RE: Laurie Subdivision
Classic Custom Builders, Inc. -
Raymond W. Spencer
Dear Ms. Clark:
Raymond W. Spencer of Classic Custom Builders, Inc. has asked
me to write you this letter concerning the Covenants that will be
filed for Laurie Subdivision. We intend to file these Covenants
at the same time that the final plat is filed.
In addition to the provisions commonly found in covenants of
this kind, they will contain the following:
(1) A restriction will be noted in them that before any
landscaping or improvements are placed on Lots 2, 3, 4, or 8,
the City's Forester must review and approve the plans (in
addition to the standard review by the Architectural Control
Committee) .
(2) The Covenants will note that any residence built on
Lots 5, 6, 7, and 8 must have a residential sprinkler system
for fire protection.
(3) The Covenants will contain a notice to the owners
of Lots 5, 6, 7, and 8 making the owners aware that utility
companies doing repair or other work on utilities, or other
vehicles performing similar work, may effectively block

access to such Lots by emergency vehicles; it will be noted
that the City will have no liability to the Lot owners for
any damage caused by such an occurrence.
Mr. Spencer has given me instructions regarding the drafting
of the Covenants, but I will be out of town during all of spring
break week (March 16-20) and will not, therefore, be able to give
you the proposed Covenants for review before the last week of
March.
If one or more of the specific items noted above should
appear on the subdivision plat itself, in addition to being set
forth in the Covenants, please let us know.
Thank you for your attention to this matter.
Very truly yours,
'12
