Dear Ted,
Thank for the information you provided this morning regarding my
proposal to establish a Bed & Breakfast at. 730 West. Prospect. I
especially appreciated the code references and the staff's
continents from the conceptual hearing.
I left Rick Richter a small note about inspecting the property
and Ralph from the city forestry office is coming out Friday a.m.
to look at the trees and driveway.
Meanwhile, I have relayed some information to Alan Lamborn,
president of the Prospect -Shields Neighborhood Assn. I have also
talked to Hal. Worth some more about it. I want to be careful not.
to compromise Hal's position because in addition to his
leadership in the neighborhood association, he is also a good
friend and I highly value his opinion and advice.
If the association presents serious objections to my proposal or
the staff sees no reason not to recommend paving or other changes
that would significantly add to cost and in my view, detract from
the value of the property as a residence, then I will not submit.
a formal proposal. But I will keep you notified as to
developments and I would appreciate any further advice you may
have as staff gathers additional information.
I have appreciated the gracious way you have tried to lead an
amateur through the planning process!
