Dear John:
Since our last meeting on Riverbend Stables on August 10, 1989, the Planning
Department has continued the Preliminary P.U.D. hearing until a degree of
resolution is reached regarding the transportation issues. Please be aware
that the Planning Department is now in the review period for the October 23,
1989 Planning and Zoning hearing. Our deadline for achieving some form of
accord is the date that revised plans are typically due. For the October Planning
and Zoning Board hearing, this date is October 4, 1989. If this deadline is not
workable, then the next available Planning and Zoning hearing is November 20,
1989.
Whichever Planning and Zoning Board hearing works best for your client, please
be aware that the Planning Department needs an Affected Property Owner list
for public notification. This list must be on sticky back mailing labels, 33
labels per 8 1/2 x 11 sheet. The A.P.O. list must be received by the Planning
Department no later than thrre weeks prior to the public hearing.
It is our hope that the City and the applicant can reach a solution that bene-
fits both parties. Please call the Planning Department at 221-6750 if there
are any questions or to set up a meeting to discuss the issues in depth.
