Box 580 DEC 13 I9N Fort Collins, CO 80524 RE: Riverbend Stables Dear Mr. Shepard: It was so odd to receive your letter regarding Riverbend Stables, because just the night before I was talking with friends about my property in Countryside Park. I made the statement, "I wonder what could happen to lower my property value more than it's already been lowered." Voila! A letter from you. Property values in Countryside Park have plummeted since I purchased my home over five years ago. I can't GIVE the place away. No one really wants to live here. Now someone wants to build horse stables within 500 feet of my home. Great. Stinky, :smelly horse stables. NO THANKS! If the people who are proposing this project would like to buy my home from me for the loan balance, fine. Otherwise I will object STRONGLY to this proposal. There is no need to put horse stables within 500 feet of a community which is already suffering from low property values. I see no redeeming quality in having horse stables located so near my property. The odor alone would be unbearable, plus my property value is plummet even further. PLEASE ACCEPT THIS LETTER_ AS_ MY OFFICIAL "NO" VOTE TO THIS RIDICULOUS PROPOSAL. As a property owner in Countryside Park, I can say we're in enough trouble already. Sincerely, Vicki Clark 605 Joanne St. Fort Collins, CO 80524 (303) 224-5200
