Dear John:
The purpose of this letter is to verify the use and hours of operation for a Health
and Membership Club located within Harmony School Shops shopping center at
the northeast corner of East Harmony Road and Timberline Road.
Harmony School Shops shopping center is defined by the City of Fort Collins
Land Use Code as a Community Shopping Center. The proposed 24-Hour
Fitness establishment, a proposed component of the shopping center, is defined
as a Health and Membership Club.
The property is zoned H-C, Harmony Corridor. This zoning permits both a
Community Shopping Center and a Health and Fitness Club as permitted uses.
Further, the Land Use Code does not restrict the hours of operation within a
Community Shopping Center. Therefore, the proposed 24-Hour Fitness Club
establishment is permitted to operate on a 24-hour basis.
