Project Title: Bank of Colorado

General Information:
This is a request to construct an 895 square foot bank with drive -thru lanes on a parcel that
contains an existing car wash. The property is located at 1305 West Elizabeth Street and
contains .252 acres. To construct the bank and associated access and drive-thru lanes, the
existing car wash and some landscaping will be demolished. The site will continue to take
access from the north-south private drive that serves the existing car wash and Sonic.
Improvements to the lot will include new paved parking spaces, access drives, new
sidewalks, landscape islands, new trash enclosure and the bank building with drive-thru
canopy.
The traditional architecture utilizes coffee-colored brick, cement smooth finish lap siding and
standing seam metal roofs panels.
The redevelopment and proposed use of this vacant site is appropriate and continues to
meet the need for auto-related uses in the area.
The site is in the CC – Community Commercial zoning district. Drive-thru financial
institutions are subject to Type 1 review.
