Enclosed please find the signed Petition of Annexation from
GT Land plus five copies, twenty copies of the plat, the
"Affected Property Owners" report, and a check for $60 from GT
Land to cover the application fee ($50 fee plus $10 per plat).
As discussed in our phone conversation earlier this
afternoon, CSU has been unable to obtain the signature from Dick
Robinson of the State Board of Agriculture required for the
Annexation Petition. Therefore, as agreed pursuant to our phone
conversation, we will submit the signed Petition of Annexation
from CSU no later than Wednesday, June loth.
Also, as discussed in a phone conversation June 4, 1987 with
Gary Diede and Ron Mills, the signed Deed of Easement from CSU to
the City of Fort Collins is no longer a requirement for filing
this Petition for Annexation.
We ask that the Petition for Annexation be set for
consideration at the Planning and Zoning Board hearing of June
22, 1987.

PETITION FOR ANNEXATION
THE UNDERSIGNED hereby petition the Council of the City of
Fort Collins, Colorado, for the annexation of an area, to be
referred to as the Blue Spruce Farm Annexation to the City of
Fort Collins. Said area, consisting of approximately 173.2442
acres is more particularly described on Exhibit "A" attached
hereto.
The petitioners allege:
1. That it is desirable and necessary that such area be annexed
to the City of Fort Collins.
2. That the requirements of Sections 31-12-104 and 31-12-105,
C.R.S. 1973, exist or have been met.
3. That not less than one -sixth of the perimeter of the area
proposed to be annexed is contiguous with the boundaries of
the City of Fort Collins.
4. That a community of interest exists between the area
proposed to be annexed and the City of Fort Collins.
5. That the area to be annexed is urban or will be urbanized in
the near future.
6. That the area proposed to be annexed is integrated with or
capable of being integrated with the City of Fort Collins.
7. That the petitioners herein comprise more than fifty percent
( 50 0 ) of the landowners in the area and own more than fifty
percent (50%) of the area to be annexed, excluding public
streets, alleys and lands owned by the City of Fort Collins.
WHEREFORE, said petitioners request the Council of the City
of Fort Collins approve the annexation of said area.
Furthermore, the petitioners request that said area be placed in
the T (Transition) zoning district pursuant to Chapter 118
(Zoning) of the Code of the City of Fort Collins.
This Petition may be signed in counterparts by each
petitioner hereto and all such counterparts shall constitute one
agreement.

and have verified that the signers of the attached Annexation

Township 7 North, Range 68 West, of the Sixth P.M., County of
Larimer, State of Colorado, which, considering the West line of
said Northwest 1/4 as bearing N 00025' E and with all bearings
contained herein relative thereto, begins at a point on said West
line which bears N 00025' E 530 feet from the West 1/4 corner of
said Section 29, and runs thence N 00025' E 793.00 feet; thence S
