The City staff has requested that we provide input as to the potential for
a traffic signal to be located at the intersection of Vermont Drive and
Timberline Road, which would essentially designate Vermont Drive as an
east -west collector serving the section of land including Blue Spruce
Farm.
Although we cannot absolutely predict the development pattern that will
occur at Blue Spruce Farm; discussions with City Traffic Engineer Rick
Ensdorff, and a number of alternative conceptual development plans, have
resulted in our concluding that Vermont is most likely to be an east -west
collector, and that the Vermont/Timberline intersection is an appropriate
signal location.
