Dear Sirs;
We are requesting the vacation of county road easement
Corte La Paz, located in Serramonte Highlands. Serramonte High-
lands legal description is; Being the south -'f of the N.E.
of section 30. Township 8 North, Range 68 West of the sixth P.M.,
Larimer County, Colorado. Corte La Paz is located in the north
eastern section of Serramonte Highlands and runs approximately
350ft. east -west, it is 60 ft. wide.
At this time Serramonte Highlands is a quiet small neigh'—
borhood with many small children. We feel that the use of this
road in the future would detrimently effect the quality of life
in our area. Our roads are maintained by the Homeowners Association
and are not built to support a heavier traffic load that this street
might bring if it were connected to another subdivision in the
future. As a group the Homeowners have expressed a strong
disinclination to join the city system and lose control of our own
roads.
As you can see fromthe attatched utilities check sheet the road
if vacated would likely be used for utility easements in part or
totally. As the adjoining property owner to the south, Lot 72
I would much rather see this use of the area than as a road. The
vacation of this road easement has been discussed many times in our
Homeowners meetings and all are agreed that this vacation would be
a positive thing for the entire subdivision.
