Shaw SUBJECT: VACATION OF CORTE LA PAZ IN SERRAMONTE HIGHLANDS I have reviewed the request for vacation and have the following comments: 1. Corte La Paz was platted to provide access to property on the west. Any request for vacation should show that vacation of this right-of-way will not leave any legal parcel without access to a public road. 2. Serramonte Drive is essentially a long cul-de-sac at this time. The length exceeds the maximum length allowed by current County standards. Would a variance be necessary if Corte La Paz is vacated, thereby eliminating a future second access? 3. The City of Fort Collins should comment on the need to provide this access to property now located within the city limits. EWS/lk
