CO
Maximum 150 people come to celebrate the wedding in Fort Collins, lets say half are from out of town.
Thats 75 people who are bringing business into the city of Fort Collins through:
Hotels and Airbnb’s- Income to local businesses and taxes paid to the City of Fort Collins.
Restaurants-Most of their meals will be eaten within the city including large gatherings before and after. This will most likely
include a Rehearsal Dinner, Brunch after and catering for the wedding. All of this brings income to local businesses and the
City of Fort Collins through taxes.
Breweries-Most likely they will do a tour or visit one of the 20+ breweries we have in town. Again, this will provide income
for local businesses and taxes to the City of Fort Collins.
Local and State Parks- They will most likely spend some time in our community’s beautiful outdoors which could potentially
provide income through day passes and gear bought at local businesses.
This does not take in account the other 75 people who may be from Fort Collins or within the state of CO. That is also
additional income to the City of Fort Collins and its local businesses for events related to the wedding (bachelor/bachelorette
events, wedding showers, etc.)
The Solarium would also be paying taxes to the City of Fort Collins as well as supporting local businesses with Catering,
Bartending services, DJ’s, photographers, event supply, etc.
In total that could provide tens of thousands of dollars to local businesses as well as thousands in taxes for just a single
wedding.
