Given: Proposed Antenna Model: CCI TPA-45R-KU8AA-K (98.7x15.4x8.2) with Vercal Beamwidth=17.8 degrees for 700 band. Distance of the antennas from the parapet corner: 16.17 feet In order for the LTE 700 signal to propagate effecvely from the rooop without being shadowed by the parapet wall, the boom p of the antenna would need to be at least 8.1 feet from the rooop. Since, we’re using 8-foot antenna for maximum antenna gain (best indoor signal penetraon compared to shorter antennas), the top of the antenna height should be 8.1 + 8.225 = 16.325 from the rooop based from the Rooop Clearance calculaons shown below. The top of antenna height from the rooop based on our current design is at 14.33 which is already 2 feet less than what it should be based on our calculaons. Now, If we have to move the antennas away from the parapet corner, then the top of antenna height would have to be increased accordingly. RE: College & Drake COL03242 FA#14390423 Planner Needs 1 of 4 6/11/2019, 1:00 PM Let’s say, we move the antenna 10 more away from the parapet corner (26.17 distance from the antennas to the parapet wall), then the top of antenna height would be increased to 12.8 + 8.225 = 21 from the rooop based on the calculaons: Hope this explanaon helps. Also, can I please have the length in feet the distance from the antennas to the corner of the rooop (shown by the red line)? Thanks. Need to show why the antennas need to be close to the edge of the roof line (current design shows them 5 feet off the roofline). Or how far back can you push them. Fort Collins wants them as close the middle as possible. Need to give jusficaon for the placement for each sector as they are currently being shown on the ZD’s. Will need maps, propagaons, leer of jusficaon, etc…anything that can best show the coverage objecve and why the locaon on the roof is needed. Thank you.
