The flowline profiles on both Harmony and Taft still are not showing how the
grades tie into existing – please provide so that the limits of the grading
easement can be verified.See revised profiles.

03/04/2019: FOR APPROVAL:
Thank you for adjusting for ADA and flowline standards – there is one area that
still needs some clarification: on the profile for Taft, at ST 0+76.84, the flowline
appears to diverge as if around a corner, however on the plan view this location
is only halfway between CR38E and the new private drive. Please clarify what’s
happening in this area and note that 0.5% to 1% does exceed the max grade
break of 0.4%. Can an additional grade break be provided to smooth this out?
Please reach out if this would cause adverse effects elsewhere in the design,
etc. That was an error and has been corrected.

03/04/2019: FOR APPROVAL:
Thank you for providing the ultimate striping exhibit as well as the cross sections
on the cover; however, there appears to be a disconnect between the two –
some of the widths shown on the striping plan don’t match what’s being shown
as the ultimate cross section. The ROW dedication appears to be correct, as
we had worked out from the beginning, but the exhibit and sections are showing
different things – please clarify.See revised typical ultimate cross sections on the cover.

03/04/2019: INFORMATION ONLY:
The City Engineering department is currently reviewing ramp details, particularly
for the use of truncated domes. Although domes are included in the driveway
detail, staff does not believe that the vehicular crossings at this location will be
frequent enough to require the use of truncated domes. These can be removed
from the driveway crossings. Also, the CR38E ramp flares can be changed to
curb to better direct pedestrians across the driveway. The domes have been removed and the flares
have been modified.

Thank you for adding the driveway variance to Note 48, please also add the
utility easement reduction to the approved variances list – I apologize for not
listing out the variances in my comment last round, this should be the last
addition to this note that I am aware of.This variance has been added.

03/05/2019: It does not appear that the redlines were addressed. They
included pavement markings on both CR 28E and Taft, and conduit needs for
the signal. These need to be addressed before mylars.
12/17/2018: final redlines for signing, striping and signal work have been
forwarded with the review letter on Friday. These comments on the redlines have been incorporated
into the revised drawings.

Wes Lamarque in Stormwater/Waste Water Utilities informed me that the
northern most Shumard Oak is too close to the Storm Drain. Please allow 10 ft
between the tree and this utility. Include site distance triangle at this corner to
4
ensure that the canopy shade tree does not encroach with its adjusted location.
The Strom Drain has been moved to provide the 10’ separation.
In the meeting, traffic confirmed that this tree would not interfere with Sight Distance.

12/20/2018: The existing 3/4 inch water tap is classified as single family
residential. To reclassify to multi-family the tap must be under one ownership
and all outside irrigation must be by a separate source. The tap fee would be
$32,412.60 for a 1 1/2 inch tap to serve the four dwelling units as multi-family.
The existing tap would have to be abandoned at the main and a new 1 1/2 tap
installed for the proposed configuration.
Tap will be under one ownership.
How will the landscape be irrigated?
The irrigation line will be off the commercial tap.
A reduced pressure principle device is required on the domestic taps.
See notes on utility sheet.
Please do not hesitate to contact me if you have any questions or require
additional information.
