10/18/2018: FOR APPROVAL:
Thank you for updating plans to show these existing utilities and adding notes requiring these to be located
prior to construction. It appears the only conflicts will be with the existing stormwater. Please clarify these
locations where proposed fiber is to cross existing storm pipes - currently these locations call out "new
stormwater pipe." I don't believe new stormwater pipe is proposed.
[RESPONSE] - NOTES CLARIFIED TO IDENTIFY THAT THE CROSSING IS A NEW FIBER RUN OVER AN
EXISTING STORMWATER PIPE.
Please also clarify how any conflicts will be addressed. I see the note stating, "new fiber will apparently need to
run below the existing stormwater lines at (2) crossing points" - also note the typical minimum separation at
such a crossing is 18". It is expected that this separation be provided.
[RESPONSE] - ADDED SPECIFICATION THAT THE MINIMUM SEPARATION BETWEEN THE EX.
STORMWATER PIPE AND NEW FIBER CROSSING IS 18”
Lastly, my phone number has changed. Please update to 970-305-5989 in the plans.
[RESPONSE] - UPDATED CONTACT PHONE NUMBER.
07/09/2018: The submitted plans do not depict existing utilities including water, wastewater, and stormwater. It
appears the proposed bores are in the vicinity of existing water and will cross existing stormwater pipes in
multiple locations; please review "Columbine East Long Term Care" plans that show utilities for this property.
Please locate and show these existing utilities on the plans, provide adequate separation, and show crossing
conflicts and how they will be addressed.

10/29/2018: INFORMATION ONLY:
It is my clear understanding from your submitted plans that your plan is to bring power from the existing panel
of the building. This will result in Verizon not having a City of Fort Collins Light and Power meter. If this plan
changes, please contact us to work out fees and plans to connect to our system. Thank you.
