CODE ANALYSIS
1. CONTRACTORS SHALL VISIT THE JOB SITE AND COMPLETELY FAMILIARIZE
THEMSELVES WITH THE EXISTING PROJECT CONDITIONS.
2. COORDINATE NEW INSTALLATION METHODS AND RESULTANT REMAINING
SURFACES WITH PATCHING AND FINISH REQUIREMENTS.
3. THE GENERAL CONTRACTOR SHALL BE RESPONSIBLE FOR CONSTRUCTING AND
MAINTAINING TEMPORARY SAFETY BARRICADES SOUND, DUST CONTROL
PARTITIONS, ETC. AS REQUIRED TO PROVIDE A SAFE AND CLEAN ENVIRONMENT
IN AND AROUND THE CONSTRUCTION AREA.
4. UNFORESEEN CONDITIONS: SHOULD ANY CONDITION ARISE WHICH WOULD NOT
NORMALLY BE ANTICIPATED, OR SHOULD ANY CONDITIONS BE UNCOVERED WHICH
DOES NOT MATCH THE CONTRACT DOCUMENTS. IMMEDIATELY NOTIFY THE
ARCHITECT/OWNER FOR DIRECTION.
5. SHOULD THERE BE ANY QUESTIONS REGARDING THE CONTRACT DOCUMENTS,
EXISTING CONDITIONS AND/OR DESIGN INTENT, THE CONTRACTOR SHALL BE
RESPONSIBLE FOR OBTAINING A CLARIFICATION FROM THE ARCHITECT/OWNER
PRIOR TO SUBMITTAL OF PROPOSALS AND PROCEEDING WITH ANY WORK.
6. GENERAL CONTRACTOR AND / OR ALL SUBCONTRACTORS SHALL OBTAIN ALL
GOVERNING AGENCY APPROVALS RELATED TO THEIR WORK AND PAY FOR ANY
PERMITS, FEES, OR ANY OTHER COST TO PROVIDE COMPLETE INSTALLATION, &
GOVERNING AUTHORITY, 'CERTIFICATE OF OCCUPANCY'.
7. GENERAL CONTRACTOR SHALL PROVIDE FOR A SMOOTH TRANSITION BETWEEN
EXISTING CONDITIONS TO REMAIN AND NEW CONSTRUCTION. GENERAL
CONTRACTOR SHALL ALSO BE RESPONSIBLE FOR REPAIRING, PATCHING AND
MATCHING ANY DAMAGED AREA CAUSED BY WEATHER, THE PROCESS OF
CONSTRUCTING OR OTHER AS REQUIRED, FOR COMPLETION OF THE NEW SPACE.
8. OWNER PROVIDED AND CONTRACTOR INSTALLED EQUIPMENT AND FIXTURES
MUST BE COORDINATED BY THE CONTRACTOR.
9. GENERAL CONTRACTOR IS RESPONSIBLE FOR PROVIDING ANY SUPPORT
BLOCKING IN WALLS AS REQUIRED TO SUPPORT CASEWORK, FIXTURES OR OTHER
OWNER PROVIDED EQUIPMENT OR FIXTURES NOT SHOWN ON THE PLANS.
10. ITEMS NOTED AS REINSTALLED ARE TO BE CLEANED AND/OR RECONDITIONED
AS NECESSARY.
11. PATCH WALLS WHERE HVAC TRANSFER GRILLES ARE REMOVED. VERIFY
ABANDONED GRILLES WITH MECHANICAL PLANS.
12. VERIFY ALL EXISTING CONDITIONS AND DIMENSIONS. COORDINATE ALL WORK.
13. SEE MECHANICAL AND ELECTRICAL DRAWINGS FOR LIGHTING AND HVAC
