The civil plans should be indicating a reconstruct, whereupon either specifying LCUASS detail 706.2 (which was included as a detail on the plan set) or 706.3 (ADA bypass sidewalk) as another option, is utilized. It's presently proposed location would be location within future pavement based upon the required right-of-way dedication. As the back of sidewalk would abut a future built Pennsylvania Street, we would want to ensure that the garage (or any above ground structure) was offset a minimum of 2 feet from the back of sidewalk. The garage/garage slab should be depicted with a two foot offset from the right-of-way. Page 1 of 4 09/02/2015: In discussion with the City Surveyor, there needs to be access easement on Lot 2 that abut Lot 1 and connects with Taft Hill Road in order to provide legal access to Lot 1, as Lot 1 would not have legal access without this access easement in its current configuration. This could follow the general corridor of the emergency access easement, but then extend further west to tie into Lot 1.
