06/15/2016: It is unclear which light fixtures will be used - sheets 1 and 2 of the
lighting plan seem to be showing different fixtures. Please provide the
manufacturer cut-sheets for the light fixtures that will be used. With regard to
LED light fixtures, cooler color temperatures are harsher at night and cause
more disruption to circadian rhythms for both humans and wildlife. Staff
recommends a warm color temperature (warm white, 3000K or less) for the
LED light fixtures. Cut Sheet of fixture is provided.

07/01/2016: SIGNS AND SIGN PLACEMENT
The Fire Lane shall be signed or otherwise marked with red curb. Sign or red
curb locations need to be indicated on the plans. If not already done so, fire lane
signage will also be required of the existing building to the north. Code
language provided below. Signage to be marked new and existing.
> IFC D103.6: Where required by the fire code official, fire apparatus access
roads shall be marked with permanent NO PARKING - FIRE LANE signs
complying with Figure D103.6. Signs shall have a minimum dimension of 12
inches wide by 18 inches high and have red letters on a white reflective
background. Signs shall be posted on one or both sides of the fire apparatus
road as required by Section D103.6.1 or D103.6.2.
