PITKIN, CARRIAGE HOUSE - FDP - FDP160007 - SUBMITTAL DOCUMENTS - ROUND 1 - CITY STAFFPage 1 of 3 30-Sep-2015 To: City of Fort Collins Water/Wastewater Date: Sept. 30, 2015 Re: Water & Wastewater services for residence at 612 E. Pitkin St. To Whom It May Concern: Calculations have been performed for the residence at the address noted above with regards to water service and sewer service sizing. Integrated Mechanical can confirm that the existing 3/4" domestic water service, and existing 4" sewer service are adequate for all new, and anticipated future plumbing fixtures within the residence and carriage house. All calculations and fixture counts are based on the requirements in the 2012 IRC, and are summarized below. Domestic Cold Water: Residence and carriage house fixture counts are listed below. Anticipated peak flow rate based on these counts is 26 GPM, which is within acceptable limits of a 3/4" meter. Based on available pressure of 95 psi, the system has capacity to allow for pipe sizing of 10.3 PSI/100 feet within the building (see calculation below), which is well within the acceptable range for industry pipe sizing standards.
