THIS INCLUDES ZONES BETWEEN THE SIDEWALK AND CURB, MEDIANS AND OTHER CITY PROPERTY. THIS PERMIT SHALL APPROVE THE LOCATION AND SPECIES TO BE PLANTED. FAILURE TO OBTAIN THIS PERMIT MAY RESULT IN REPLACING OR RELOCATING TREES AND A HOLD ON CERTIFICATE OF OCCUPANCY. TREE REMOVAL SHALL BE BY A BUSINESS HOLDING A CURRENT CITY OF FORT COLLINS ARBORIST LICENSE AND ON THE CITY BID LIST. REASONS FOR REMOVALS: The American Elm along Magnolia is to be removed based on analysis by the forestry department due to conflicts with the proposed building and adjacent excavation. The two oak trees along Mason are to be removed do to conflicts with the proposed plaza and walk system. The cedar tree is only inches from the existing building. It will be removed to allow for the construction of the new building.
