Construction shall be performed in a manner to not damage any existing tree. Clearance pruning of any tree on site shall only be by a Fort Collins licensed arborist following City of Fort Collins tree management standards under the direction of the City Forester. 8. Equipment access/drives shall be positioned to minimize travel over the root system of any existing tree. Equipment drive locations over the root system of any significant tree shall be approved by the City Forester with requirements to protect the soil from being compacted. 9. Large property areas containing protected trees and separated from construction or land clearing areas, road rights-of-way and utility easements may be "ribboned off," rather than erecting protective fencing around each tree as required in subsection (G)(#) above. This may be accomplished by placing metal t-post stakes a maximum of fifty (50) feet apart and tying ribbon or rope from stake-to-stake along the outside perimeters of such areas being cleared. 6. The installation of utilities, irrigation lines or any underground fixture requiring excavation deeper than six (6) inches shall be accomplished by boring under the root system of protected existing trees at a minimum depth of twenty-four (24) inches. The auger distance is established from the face of the tree (outer bark) and is scaled from the tree diameter at breast height as described in the tree protection chart of the Fort Collins land use code section 3.2.1. 1 PY KS 3 RH AR 7 RH AR 52 CA BR 8 AR PA 8 AR PA 14 VE CR 8 CH NA 4 SY OR 4 SY OR 4 SY OR 8 CH NA 10 PE AT 10 PE AT 22 BO GR 8 CH NA 22 BO GR 30 BO GR 32 SP HE 12 VI MI 4 PR BE 6 PE AT SEED MIX A SEED MIX A SEED MIX A SEED MIX A RIVER RESTORATION AREA SEED MIX C SEED MIX A ROW TREES, BY OTHERS FUTURE LANDSCAPE BUFFER AREA FUTURE PARKING ENVELOPE FUTURE LANDSCAPE BUFFER AREA EXISTING TREES TO REMAIN AND BE PROTECTED DECIDUOUS SHADE TREE EVERGREEN TREE ORNAMENTAL TREE DECIDUOUS SHRUBS PERENNIALS ORNAMENTAL GRASSES EVERGREEN SHRUBS BOULDERS STEEL EDGER DRYLAND SEED MIX SEED MIX A COBBLE MULCH WILDFLOWER SEED MIX ANNUAL BED SEED MIX B PARKING LOT LIGHTS WALK LIGHTS COBBLE DRAINAGE SWALE SEED MIX C BHA Design Incorporated FORT COLLINS, COLORADO 1603 Oakridge Drive Fort Collins, Colorado 80525 voice: 970.223.7577 fax: 970.223.1827 WOODWARD TECHNOLOGY CENTER REVISIONS: DATE: FINAL PLAN RE-SUBMITTAL MAR 12, 2014 SHEET OF FEBRUARY 12, 2014 L7 0 15' 30' 60' LANDSCAPE PLAN KEY MAP LEGEND MATCHLINE, SEE SHEET L6 L3 L4 L5 L6 L7 L2 9 5 RI AL 1 JU EF 5 CA BR 3 AR ME 5 JU EF 1 AR ME 1 PI MU 5 PE AT 3 CE MO 5 AR ME 1 JU EF 3 PR BE 8 AR ME 3 CE MO 5 PI MU 3 SY OR 1 RI AU 1 PI MU 3 SY OR 3 RI AU 1 PI AR 3 PE AT 3 RH TR 3 AM GR 1 JU BR 5 AQ CO 5 AQ CH 9 PE AL 5 RH GL 7 RH GL 1 PI PU 9 PE PI 5 AC MO 7 LA HI 1 PI ED 6 CO MB 6 AR CA 3 CH NA 5 VE CR 3 AR CA 3 CH NA 7 NE LT 7 PE PI 3 AC TA 3 AM GR 3 AQ CH 7 DI CC 5 AR PA 3 PY AN 5 SY AL 9 CA OV 3 AG CR 3 AG CR 3 PI GL 5 RH GL 3 JU EF 9 BO GR 5 AR FR 3 AR PA 9 BO GR 5 PR PB 3 SY VU 3 AC GR 1 UL JA 1 GY DI 1 GY DI 2 GL TR 2 GL TR 1 GL TR 1 GL TR 5 SY AL 5 CO AP 3 PY AN 5 SY OR 6 AQ CH 13 PE ST 21 DI CC 5 SY AL 29 PE AL 5 AR PA 5 SY OR 6 PI GL 12 VI MI 7 PH CS 13 PE AL 5 CH NA 3 PR PB 5 PR PB 5 PE AT 3 VI LA 3 PR CI 6 AR CA 3 RH TR 19 PA VI 3 PY AN 3 SY AL 5 CA CL 11 BO GR 5 CA CL 5 CH NA 5 CH NA 3 PI GL DRY LAND SEED STEEL EDGER, TYP.
