WATER PROFILE NOTES:
1. ALL WATERLINE CONSTRUCTION SHALL CONFORM TO
THE CITY OF FORT COLLINS WATER, WASTEWATER,
AND STORMWATER DEVELOPMENT CONSTRUCTION
STANDARDS AND DETAILS.
2. ALL WATERLINE TO BE CONSTRUCTED A MINIMUM OF
4.5' AND A MAXIMUM OF 5.5' (5' TYPICAL) BELOW
FINISHED GRADE UNLESS NOTED OTHERWISE.
3. ALL WATERLINE SERVICES TO BE 3/4" UNLESS NOTED
OTHERWISE.
4. PROVIDE 10' HORIZONTAL CLEARANCE BETWEEN
WATER AND SEWER MAINS.
5. ALL GATE VALVES SHALL BE INSTALLED WITH BOXES.
6. IF WATERLINES ARE IN DEFLECTION, 10' ON BOTH
SIDES OF THE CROSSING ARE TO BE STRAIGHT,
FOLLOWED BY THE APPROPRIATE DEFLECTION.
7. WATER SERVICES THAT CONFLICT WITH STORM
SEWER AND CANNOT MAINTAIN 4.5' OF COVER AND 18"
VERTICAL SEPARATION SHALL BE LOWERED TO A
MINIMUM 18" BELOW THE STORM SEWER.
8. EXACT LOCATION OF EXISTING WATER MAIN TAP
LOCATIONS HAVE NOT BEEN POTHOLE LOCATED AND
ARE NOT KNOWN. CONTRACTOR TO POTHOLE AND
DETERMINE EXACT LOCATIONS AND OBTAIN REVIEW
AND APPROVAL FROM ENGINEER PRIOR TO
CONSTRUCTION.
9. SLEEVE LOCATIONS SHOWN ARE APPROXIMATE .
