SUCH AN EXPANSION WOULD REQUIRE THE SITE TO HAVE A TOTAL OF 213 OFF-STREET PARKING SPACES. THE APPLICANT REQUESTS A MODIFICATION TO SECTION 3.2.2(K)(1)(a) OF THE LAND USE CODE TO REDUCE THE REQUIRED NUMBER OF OFF-STREET PARKING SPACES FROM 213 TO 181. May make additional comments at time of PDP submital Active 1 Dave Stringer 02/18/2003 2 General I beilieve this complex requires an additional fee for rental of parking spaces, this could be why there are so many un-used spaces - students are finding else where to park their vehicles which only contributes to an increase of on-streeet parking etc. By reducing the required number of space, I think it makes the situation potentially worse. I would question the owner as to how many parking spaces are availabel to renters at no additional rental fee. Active 1 Jenny Nuckols 02/18/2003 3 General It may be beneficial to illustrate visually the areas within the parking lot that have higher usage rates and the areas that show high vacancy on a map that is broken into individual parking zones.
