Hillcrest P.U.D. on the southerly acreage of land that lies behind our single family residences in Tenth Green. I am happy to know that you -plan to reserve the northerly 4.5 acres for a possible trade to Poudre R-1 for an athletic field. However, I wish to go on record as a resident whose property will be impacted by the duplexes if they are built as planned: I was under the distinct impression that the area in question is subject to agreements between the Maxwell estate and the City of Fort Collins which preclude building anything but single family homes in this former Maxwell Ranch, due to the restrictions put on this land when it was annexed into the City of Fort Collins. I believe that you should check on the legality, as I was threatened with a fine of $1,000 per day if I kept an extra stove in the lower part of my paid -for -dwelling after April 29, 1992 so I was forced to comply with a covenant based on the city's prior agreements about this area. I will appreciate knowing if it is about separating some portion of my to be the scapegoat of a next door and what I -do with my own home? legal for me to-do as I wish home or if I am perhaps going neighbor's harassment over who Thanks for your early reply. Sincerely yours, -Z 1-2., Veda N. Steadman Homeowner here since 1969 at my present location - I am not opposed to subsidized housing for poor, low income people but I do not approve of subsidizing middle income renters with public funds, as everyone in this neighborhood has had to follow the work ethic without having subsidized housing, at least while 'they pay for their single family homes and are not allowed to convert to duplexes to earn extra rental funds to help pay the inflated utility bills and taxes that we are presently having to pay in the Choic City.
