HomeMy WebLinkAboutIMPALA VILLAGE PUD PRELIMINARY FIRST NEIGHBORHOOD MEETING - 6 93 - CORRESPONDENCE - CORRESPONDENCE-NEIGHBORHOOD MEETINGNo Text Commu. j Planning and Environmental ;vices Planning Department City of Fort Collins January 27, 1993 Dear Resident: On Thursday, February 4, 1993, from 7:00 - 9:00 p.m., in the Media Center at Poudre High School*, 201 Impala Drive, the City of Fort Collins Planning Department will hold a public information meeting to discuss a development proposal in your neighborhood. The project is known as "Impala Village". The proposed project is located on 10 acres of vacant land at 2300 West Mulberry, just east of Impala Drive and Impala Circle. This parcel is also known as the Ricketts Subdivision. Access to this property would be gained from Impala Circle. The applicant, the Fort Collins Housing Authority is submitting a request to re - subdivide the Ricketts Subdivision approved in 1988. The proposal is to construct 29 duplex units for a total of 58 dwelling units. The request also includes a daycare facility. The size of the daycare facility has not been determined at this time, but would be located on the western edge of the site. The request for Impala Village is being processed as a Preliminary Planned Unit Development. As part of the "P.U.D." review process, the information meeting is held at the very beginning of the process. The Preliminary P.U.D. will be considered for approval, approval with modifications, or denial by the Planning and Zoning Board. After the Preliminary consideration, the Final Plan must again go through the entire review process to be reviewed by the Planning and Zoning Board. The list of affected property owners for this public information meeting is derived from official records of the Larimer County Assessor. Because of the lag time between home occupancy and record keeping, or because of rental situations, a few affected property owners may have been missed. Please feel free to notify your neighbor of this pending meeting so all neighbors may have the opportunity to attend.
