area.
16. Agree.
17. See Aller-Lingle response.
18. Agree.
19. The combination of fencing, signage, and enforcement will discourage
parking which might obstruct the driveway. Also, see Aller-Lingle response.
20. See Aller-Lingle response.
21. The southeast community building is being eliminated. Agree that building
materials need to be indicated typically.
22. See Aller-Lingle response.
23. See Aller-Lingle response.
Thank you and the City staff for these comments. They point out important
items which need addressed or coordinated. Hopefully the Design Development
drawings will address many of the questions and concerns regarding this
project. We look forward to receiving your comments in regard to the Design
Development submittal.
Sincerely,

The following is in response to your April 20, 1993 review comments regarding
the University Village Expansion project:
1. CSU has the designers working on the layout of easements in a utility
corridor concept. This will be designed to meet the requirements for widths,
clearances, etc.. CSU and the consultants have met with the utility
organizations, and will continue to meet until all of the details are
resolved.
2. See item 1.
3. See item 1.
4. See item 1 and Aller-Lingle response in June 1, 1993 letter.
5. CSU is open to the idea of an open access to Skyline Drive. The
neighborhood has expressed much resistance to the connection. Also, see Aller-
Lingle response.
6. The signage will meet CSU Graphic Standards Manual. These standards do
not conflict with the City Sign Code.
7. CSU does typically maintain the grounds in the public right-of-way along
CSU property. Also, see Aller-Lingle response.
8. See Aller-Lingle response.
9. The density at the northwest site has been reduced from the original 100
units to 80 units as reflected in the schematic submittal. Much effort is
going into the design to minimize the impact on the surrounding community, and
this will continue. Also, see Aller-Lingle response.
10. See Aller-Lingle response.
11. See Aller-Lingle response.
12. Deciduous shade tree plantings are intended along both streets to the
extent of the project area.
13. There will likely be some foundation plantings, but the basic university
concept is "grass and trees".
14. See Aller-Lingle response.
