RE: Save-Mor.PUD Proposal
The Save-Mor PUD proposes to build a large number mini -storage
units. One of its property lines is adjacent to the Gustav Swanson
Nature Area,

�aaa is an 11-acre site along the Poudre River
}
west of Linden Street where native vegetation is cultivated in an
semi -wild condition for wildlife habitat and passive public use.
A special emphasis is put on access for disabled people, and a
paved path loops through the riverbottom forest.
The site is maintained by Parks and Recreation in cooperation with
the Natural Resources Division. Over 21500 hours of volunteers'
work has been logged since inception of the project. Members from
the Poudre River Trust, the Colorado Native Plant Society, and the
Audubon Society meet regularly on a steering committee to help
guide its management and development.
