The letter that follows is my direct response to her comments, and I have reluctantly asked Ted to include it in your packet also to provide a balance and perhaps shed a small sense of history to the situation. I apologize for the tone of that letter; at times our relationship has been mutually frustrating and charged with emotion. Suzanne's letter came at the very earliest stages of our project planning and submittal process. Since then we have had many meetings, made several site plan changes and added a fence and landscape barrier to mitigate potential conflicts with their livestock use. I feel that we have adequately addressed their legitimate concerns. Our goal has always been to provide affordable starter -type homes which are missing in the marketplace, and for that reason we have resisted their efforts to reduce our density and provide a greater distance separation along our common border. Thank you for your consideration. Yours very truly, Mark Linder ML/cll Specializing in Development Properties 309 W. Harmony Road ! Fort Collins, Colorado 80526 (303) 229-0544
