Dear Steve:
Mr. Karl Peterson requests annexation and zoning for a parcel of land located on
the south side of Drake Road approximately one and one-half miles west of Taft
Hill Road. The property is adjacent to city limits and within the Urban Growth
Area. The applicant has no immediate plans for development, however,
approximately 518 square feet located at the southwest corner of the property will
be dedicated to the City as street right-of-way. It is my understanding that this
dedication is necessary for the extension of McKeag Drive. The street right-of-
way dedication is the primary reason for annexation at this time.
