RE: Right of Way requests to accommodate Hampshire Pond PUD
In compliance with the developers request, the Light and Power Department will allow the
construction of a temporary cul-de-sac on property owed by the department on West Drake
Road east of the proposed Hampshire Pond PUD. The development agreement should
state that all costs associated with the construction of the cul-de-sac and its removal, at such
time our property is developed, are to be paid by the developer.
The plat of Hampshire Pond PUD may also include the dedication of an additional 20 feet
of Drake Road right of way along the entire north property line of Light and Power's parcel.
Again, any construction costs associated with widening the right of way to accommodate
Hampshire Pond PUD will be at the developers expense. It is our understanding that the
rights of way for both the temporary cul-de-sac and the widening of Drake Road will be
platted with the Hampshire Ponds PUD, and signed in behalf of the city by the City
Manager.
