ITEM: Poudre High School Expansion W g P North Comm ty Planning and Environmenta ervices Planning Department City of Fort Collins September 2, 1993 Dear Resident: On Thursday, September 16, 1993, from 7:00 - 9:00 p.m., at the Poudre High School Auditorium, 201 North Impala Drive*, the City of Fort Collins Planning Department will hold a neighborhood information meeting to discuss the Poudre High School Expansion. As an informal neighborhood information meeting, Poudre R-1 School District Officials and the architect will be on hand to describe the expansion plans and answer questions. In its present form, Poudre High School contains 160,000 square feet. The proposed expansion would add 105,000 square feet for a new total of 265,000 square feet. The new design includes modifications to the present alignment of Impala Drive. Please note that this meeting is sponsored by the City of Fort Collins as part of the public review process for expanding the physical plant of Poudre High School. The expansion request will be considered by the Planning and Zoning Board which the jurisdiction over land development issues. Matters relating to enrollment, boundaries, transportation services, in -school facilities, curriculum, classroom size, etc. are not related to land development and should be addressed to the Poudre R-1 School Board. Both the Planning and Zoning Board and the City Planning Staff consider your input on this matter to be an important element in the City's review of the proposal. If you are unable to attend this meeting, written comments are welcome. The list of affected property owners for this public information meeting is derived from official records of the Larimer County Assessor. Because of the lag time between home occupancy and record keeping, or because of rental situations, a few affected property owners may have been missed. Please feel free to notify your neighbor of this pending meeting so all neighbors may have the opportunity to attend.
