It was mentioned that Parks & Recreation was willing to grant the easement needed for the regrading of pond A. Final approval is granted on the condition that all necessary easements from Parks & Recreation and from the Ditch companies are obtained. Pond A was sized using historic, undeveloped, flow contribution from subbasin 1. Since a variance was requested (and approved) for the freeboard in the detention pond to be reduced from a 1 ft size down to 0.66 ft, a more thorough analysis involving the condition whereby subbasin 1 is developed and how that would impact the detention volume available at the pond is desirable. Pond A was proposed to be used as a sediment trap during the construction period. It was agreed to it that the contractor would re -grade Pond A at the end of the construction activities to remove all eroded material and preserve detention capacity at the pond. A note to that effect needs to be added on the Grading and Erosion control Plan. Please refer to additional notes and comments included in the report and on the plans.
