A hydrant is required within 400ft of these residences. The hydrant located at
Dusty Sage Loop and Dusty Sage Dr will satisfy this requirement however it is

Please change the Honeylocust on site as Kentucky Coffeetree, Hackberry, or
an Oak Species (Chinkapin, Shumard, or Texas Red).

City of Fort Collins Forestry Division is close to reaching the maximum
percentage of Honeylocust in Fort Collins' urban forest. During the development
review process. we see it as an opportune time to educate landscape
architects to use fewer Honeylocust on plan proposals. Please remove all
proposed Honeylocust from the plan and incorporate another canopy shade
tree such as Kentucky Coffeetree, Hackberry, or Oak species (Chinkapin Oak,
Shumard Oak, Texas Red Oak).

Thank you, Wendy Jakes, for meeting on -site to obtain tree inventory and
mitigation information in January 2019. Please include the provided tree
inventory and mitigation table to the landscape plan. If trees are to be removed,
please show them to be removed with a X over the tree symbol and include
required mitigation trees to the landscape plan. If no existing trees are to be
removed, please include a note that states EXISTING TREES TO BE
PRESERVED AND PROTECTED.

If there are existing trees on -site, please schedule an on -site meeting with City
Forestry to obtain existing tree inventory and mitigation information. This
meeting should occur prior to next submittal. Existing, significant trees should
